We are in the process of sending out our Kindergarten "Welcome "letters. Attached is the Kindergarten supply list, so you are aware of what your student will need. Please remember to come in and pick up your enrollment packet if you have not done so already. If your enrollment is not complete, you will not receive your letter. If you have any questions, you can call or email the office. Our office hours are 8am-3pm Monday through Friday.🐾🐾 231-861-5541

We need your help to complete walking assessments for the Safe Routes to School Michigan project in
Shelby!
The Village of Shelby and Shelby Public Schools will be conducting walking assessments along the routes
to all three schools on Monday, April 28th, 2025. Please help us collect this important information to
make walking and biking to school safer!
Why should the Village of Shelby and Shelby Public Schools participate in the Safe Routes to School
(SRTS) program?
To determine traffic safety issues
To understand the concerns expressed by the parents, students, teachers, and community
members
To improve the infrastructure around the schools
What to know:
Date: Monday, April 28th, 2025
Location: Shelby High School (641 N State St., Shelby, MI 49455)
Time: 3:15 pm - 5:30 pm
Who can volunteer? School directors, PTA/PTO members, students, government workers, local
businesses, etc. You will receive a brief on-site training to understand how to collect data and to
learn more about the project
What to wear? Comfortable clothes and walking shoes
Rain Date: Monday, May 5th

Feeding America 2025

Please take a moment to review the updated information regarding the Summer EBT program. Changes have been made this year—families who are not already receiving benefits or whose children do not receive Medicaid will need to apply on their own. Previously, eligibility was automatic due to our school's CEP status, which provides free meals to all students.
