At Shelby Middle School, we LOVE our teachers! Their passion, commitment, and dedication to helping all students succeed is truly inspiring. Whether it’s staying late to offer extra help, creating engaging lessons, or finding ways to connect with every learner, our teachers go above and beyond every single day.
Last week, we took time to show our appreciation with some sweet treats and frozen yogurt for our amazing teachers and staff. Thank you for everything you do—you make a difference!

We are so proud of our very own Mrs. Jacobson, who was honored as a well-deserved recipient of this year’s Make a Difference Award from the West Shore ESD Parent Advisory Board! Mrs. Jacobson goes above and beyond every day, giving 100% to support, encourage, and advocate for the students of Shelby Middle School.
Congratulations, Mrs. Jacobson — and thank you for the incredible difference you make in the lives of our students!

Please take a moment to review the updated information regarding the Summer EBT program. Changes have been made this year—families who are not already receiving benefits or whose children do not receive Medicaid will need to apply on their own. Previously, eligibility was automatic due to our school's CEP status, which provides free meals to all students.
For more details and application instructions, please refer to the provided information in the link below. If you have any questions, please contact the Food Service Department at 231-861-0317.
