Qualifications:

?     High School diploma or Work Keys proficient

?     Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills

?     Possess patience, dedication, and have the ability to work well with children

?     Knowledge and understanding of the migrant lifestyle

?     Prefer bilingual English/Spanish skills, but not required

?     Prefer experience working with at-risk, English learner & migrant youth

?     Willingness to follow instructions

?     Dependable

Responsibilities:

?     Works with regular classroom teacher(s) to provide appropriate instructional services to migrant students to help reach proficiency in academic areas of concern, and provide necessary support services as directed by migrant teacher and/or director.

?     Follows schedule set by migrant teacher and/or director.

?     Must be able to work all program days and all training days.

?     Maintains complete and accurate records and reports pertaining to migrant education services provided.

?     Attends and participates in migrant parent meetings and family activity events.
